Registration Policies:

Online Registration: All participants must register online through the conference website. Payment can be made via credit card or by check. Invoices are available in the registration process online. Registrations are confirmed by email.

Cancellation Requests: All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info.cpei@gmail.com. Cancellations received by July 1, 2024, will receive a full refund minus a $10 administrative fee. Cancellations received between July 2, 2024, and August 15, 2024, will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after August 16, 2024.

Substitutions: If you cannot attend, you may transfer your registration to another person. Substitution requests must be submitted to info.cpei@gmail.com by October 12, 2024.

No Refunds for No-Shows: No refunds will be given to registrants who do not attend the conference and have not provided prior notice of cancellation as outlined above.

Event Policies:

CPEI’s First Annual Gathering is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible environment for all attendees, including those with disabilities. We strive to ensure that everyone can fully participate in our hybrid conference, whether attending in-person or virtually. For any accessibility-related questions, requests, or concerns, please get in touch with our Accessibility Coordinator at info.cpei@gmail.com. We recommend reaching out at least five days before the event to ensure that we can meet your needs.

Venue Accessibility: The conference venue is fully accessible, with ramps, elevators, and accessible restrooms available. Signage will be clear and include braille where applicable.

Virtual Accessibility (Online Attendees): The virtual conference platform is designed to be accessible and compatible with screen readers and other assistive technologies.
Closed Captioning: All live sessions will include real-time closed captioning, and captions will also be available in recorded sessions.

Code of Conduct: All participants (in-person and virtual) are expected to adhere to the conference Code of Conduct, which promotes a respectful, safe, and inclusive environment for all attendees. Violations of the Code of Conduct may result in expulsion from the conference without a refund.

Dress Code: Business casual attire. 

Consent to Photography and Recording: By attending the conference, whether in-person or virtually, all participants (attendees, speakers, exhibitors, and guests) acknowledge and agree that:
The conference organizers may take photographs and/or record video and audio of sessions, workshops, and other activities, including virtual Zoom sessions.
These images and recordings may include recognizable images or voices of participants.
